Austin, TX — Multifamily New Construction
Our team will be building this 128-unit multifamily community. As this project goes through the different stages of zoning, site design, drawings, and permits, The Investing Kids currently love visiting the land site and seeing where the homes will soon be built.
They will go from walking the empty lot to seeing actual construction start soon. Our son who is two years old and extremely fascinated with toy dump trucks, excavators, and bulldozers will absolutely get a kick out of actually seeing his favorite construction vehicles in action. And not just that — but in action building something for us.

Value is a tricky word to define because it can mean different things to different people. However, it doesn't really matter how one defines value — what matters is understanding that "money" is what people pay for value. It is the gauge for value.
If you value the latest iPhone, you'll be willing to pay for it. If you value safety, you'll pay for a service that provides you safety like home security. If you value organic foods, you'll be willing to pay for it. So, money is what people pay for value. If you can generate value, you can generate wealth. This is what we want to show and explain to our kids as they grow up.
Taking a piece of raw land with dirt and turning it into a luxury multifamily community is one powerful way to create value. Anyone can do this but not everyone will.

The other concept we hope to teach our kids is to always think bigger. People are never afraid to dream big but are always fearful of taking big action. We've all heard the saying "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." But, for some reason, we tend to associate that bigger things are harder to achieve.
We then analyze and deduce that the risk isn't worth it or the extra effort isn't warranted. And we end up trying for the smaller or easier win. Believe it or not, it is often just as easy to do the bigger things. And while some things might actually end up being 2x harder, the reward is usually 10x. And that is a deal worth taking. Double the effort and 10x the reward.
Just imagine the future if today's youth started thinking and acting this way. We hope that by exposing our kids to all of these concepts and action at a very early toddler age, it will certainly plant seeds that will yield a lifetime of fruit.
